This course is ideal for both beginners and those with prior experience working with clay.

For Beginners:


If you’re new to pottery, this course will introduce you to the essential techniques of pottery making. You’ll experience the full cycle of the process, including:

  • Centering the clay

  • Trimming your pieces

  • Glazing techniques

Over the 8-week course, you will deepen your understanding of pottery, learn about different types of clay, and expand your skills. 

By the end of the course, you’ll have 4 handmade items to take home, such as cups, mugs, bowls, or vases. If you wish to create more, you’re welcome to do so for an additional fee of €5–€8 per piece, depending on size.

For Experienced Potters:


If you have previous pottery experience, this course will help refine your skills. You’ll tackle more complex projects, such as creating a set of ramen bowls or dinnerware. We’ll focus on perfecting your techniques and exploring new possibilities in your work.

Course Focus:

  • Quality Over Quantity: Our studio emphasizes the development of your craft, prioritizing quality and mastery rather than quantity.

  • Duration: 8 weeks

  • Class Time: 3 hours per session

Important Information:

  • Attendance: Please ensure you can commit to attending most of the scheduled classes before signing up. You can swap up to two classes with other participants if needed. However, if you miss more than two classes, we won’t be able to accommodate further changes due to limited availability.

Course Price: €440 (including 21% VAT)

Your class includes 3 hours of pottery fun, all materials (clay and non-toxic, food-safe glazes), plus up to four finished pieces fired at between 1200°C/1220°C.

Pottery Making Course: Suitable for Beginners and Experienced Potters

This course is perfect for both first-time pottery makers and those with prior experience working with clay.

For Beginners:


If you’re new to pottery, this course will introduce you to the basics of pottery making. You’ll experience the entire process, from start to finish, including:

  • Centering the clay

  • Trimming your pieces

  • Glazing techniques

Over the course of 12 weeks, you'll learn the fundamentals of pottery, gain an understanding of different clay types, and explore the possibilities of throwing on the wheel. We’ll focus on creating larger pieces and more intricate shapes as you refine your skills. Practice is key, and you’ll have ample time to develop your technique and gain confidence in your craft.

By the end of the course, you will take home 6 of your own handmade items, such as cups, mugs, bowls, or vases. If you'd like to create more pieces, additional items can be made for a small fee of €5–€8 per piece, depending on size.

For Experienced Potters:


If you have prior pottery experience, this course will allow you to further refine your skills. You will have the opportunity to tackle more complex shapes, like sets of ramen bowls, dinnerware, or other specialized items. We’ll focus on perfecting your technique and pushing your creative boundaries.
